Event Details

Join us for a panel discussion to explore the challenges of international journalism and the role of the media in shaping Canadians’ understanding of the world. Panelists will also share their own personal experiences reporting from the field and sharing the stories they encounter with Canadians.

 

Panelists:  Stephen Puddicombe (CBC News National Reporter), Ian Porter (International media consultant) and Zulekha Nathoo (CBC TV Calgary Reporter, formerly Nation TV Kenya Reporter). 

 

This event is presented by Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC) and the School of Journalism, University of King’s College as part of the month-long exhibition, BRIDGESTHATUNITE.  From October 4 to November 4, BRIDGESTHATUNITE will be presented at Pier 21, along with a series of special events, including film screenings, musical performances, lectures and panel discussions.  For more information please visit www.bridgesthatunite.ca
